PROGRAM DIRECTOR & JIU JITSU INSTRUCTOR
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and people-oriented Program Director & Jiu-Jitsu instructor to oversee the daily operations of our school. This role blends administrative excellence with hands-on coaching, ensuring an exceptional experience for all members while fostering a strong community environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Membership & Relationship Management

Process new member sign-ups, cancellations, and inquiries

Build strong member relationships by tracking birthdays, absences, injuries, and special needs
-
Onboard new members, including class bookings, belt system orientation, promotions, and training etiquette

Lead Generation & Follow-Up
-
Schedule introductory classes for prospects
-
Conduct follow-ups to convert leads into active members
-

Operations & Administration
-
Manage and update the school’s social media accounts
-
Educate members about the importance of the uniform policy and oversee Intro Gi laundry management
-
Manage the Pro-Shop sales and monitor kids’ and adults’ attendance tracking
-
Organize events such as parent/child classes, movie nights, and other community gatherings
-
Respond to emails promptly and manage instructor/helpers and the class schedule
-
Develop and administer quarterly member surveys
-
Schedule and coordinate Kids Belt Exams

Coaching Duties
-
Coach and assist in classes for participants aged 3 and above
-
Uphold high coaching standards, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment

Work Hours:
-
Monday to Thursday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-
Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-
Some Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Certification & Rank:
-
Must have completed the ICP (Instructor Certification Program) 2025 before starting
-
Minimum rank required: Gracie Barra Blue Belt

Experience & Skills:
-
Proven experience in membership management, customer service, or similar administrative roles
-
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for community building
-
Ability to manage social media platforms effectively
-
Prior experience in coaching or training, preferably in Jiu Jitsu or other martial arts
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed in addition to the standard work hours

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $20/hour
